"I'm 45 years old and I started to notice changes over the past two years. I started noticing mood swings a lot of anxiety and I saw massive changes in my body. I gained over 20 pounds that I feel like I have been fighting to lose for the past 2 years. Even more recently I've noticed other subtle changes like muscle cramps, brain fog, fatigue and there's changes in my blood work like a rise in my A1C and my cholesterol going up. And the saddest thing is I feel like I've lost my sense of self."

My name is Vanessa. In my early 50s, I’ve felt the impact of the early stage of menopause in both subtle and significant ways. Some days, I feel like I’m handling it well—staying active, getting sleep, and riding the emotional waves. Other days, the brain fog (sometimes walls), hot flashes, and mood swings catch me off guard and leave me frustrated or desiring not to be around anyone. It’s a learning process, and I’m still figuring out what works for me. Knowing I’m not alone has made a big difference.

Hi, I’m Shawntel, I am 54-year-old Mother of 4. I have been advised by my doctor that I am in post-menopause. I started experiencing symptoms about 8 years ago. Hot flashes, mood swings, hair loss that included dryness, weight gain, tiredness, lack of energy and forgetfulness.
I was not prepared by the changes that menopause would cause. I was not educated on all the changes the body would go through.

I am 58 years old and have now gone through the menopause stages. I think. Before my cycle ended i experienced very heavy, constant periods. I had no idea this was a symptom of menopausal stages. When I entered my 50s, I experienced hot flashes, brain fog, vaginal dryness and sleepless nights. I’ve come through most of it without taking anything or getting on any hormonal medications. With coaching from Gina, it hasn’t been long-suffering. It’s been manageable and I’ve been able to enjoy my life.

I’m 53, I’ve had the typical hallmark signs of menopause, the hot flashes and night sweats. But I’ve had a host of so many others, which happen to be ones that aren’t talked about. It’s all been difficult to navigate, feeling like my mind AND my body have it out for me. I’m ready to learn whatever I can about what’s happening all in one course. That is where Coach Gina D comes in.

As a 58-year-old woman, I have recently entered the menopausal phase of my life following a complete hysterectomy in November 2019.
Immediately after the surgery, I experienced a series of symptoms, primarily hot flashes. Fortunately, I did not experience night sweats, which had previously been a significant issue for me.
Prior to menopause, I was accustomed to sleeping in warm clothing, including socks and full pajamas, due to my tendency to feel cold. However, by January 2020, I had transitioned to sleeping practically nude at night, which posed challenges for my husband due to a decline in my libido.
In addition to the symptoms, I have noticed an increase in abdominal weight, mood swings, and extreme vaginal dryness.
Having endured these changes for five years, I have observed some improvement in my condition, or perhaps I have developed coping mechanisms to manage the challenges of menopause.
My primary aspiration is to regain my pre-menopause self without resorting to the medication prescribed by my doctors.
